SGW-FR performs file-format conversion only — it does not analyse or interpret data. It is provided through the Swallow Gateway Research Hub for research and educational purposes only. SGW-FR is not a medical device, is not registered with the Therapeutic Goods Administration, and is not intended for diagnosis or for any clinical purpose.
Before you use or upload a converted file, you are responsible for verifying: (i) that the generated file(s) are complete, uncorrupted and suitable for analysis; (ii) that the correct catheter is selected in Swallow Gateway at upload; (iii) that the Swallow Gateway display is configured correctly for this recording — sample rate, units and channel orientation; and (iv) that the file, its filename and any annotation text are de-identified. Conversion does not de-identify your data: source recordings carry patient details, and both the output filename and operator notes can carry them through.
